Audience with the President of the Republic

The President of the Republic listened at length in Porto to numerous small and medium business associates of COTEC Portugal, about the challenges of competitiveness and innovation in the country, with the presence of the COTEC management and also the Minister of State, Economy and Digital Transition.

The members of COTEC – Business Association for Innovation, of which the Head of State is the honorary president – shared solutions and concerns about the challenges of the decade and about the European financial instruments, which they hope will be applied effectively for a sustained recovery of the economy and for the modernization of the State, as well as addressed the current pandemic situation and the necessary measures to overcome its great negative impact on the country’s economy.
